Included within that were two pedestrian hybrid traffic signals in Westfield. Gordon Meth was involved in the design of these beacons and 40 other traffic signals in Union County. His presentation will give an overview of some of the considerations facing the design of traffic signals and some of the future possibilities for smarter traffic signals.
