Event Description:
The Pinelands is a forest of ok, pine and white cedars located approximately midway in our state. There are many historic attractions at Batsto Village. There is also many hiking trails, parks and natural areas that are worth exploring. Rebecca Free, Director of Membership, Pinelands Preservation Alliance, will take you in a virtual tour of the Pine Barrens discussing the ecology, human history and the threats to its survival.
