Everyone loves the Jersey Tomato! Discover where the tomato originated and why it became one of New Jersey’s favorite crops. Judith Krall-Russo will talk about the renowned tomato packing industry and the changes the industry has encountered in N.J. Heirloom tomatoes, modern hybrid tomatoes and market tomatoes will be discussed with a tomato tasting following the lecture.
