Paranoia in American Politics

Bruce Peabody, professor of political science, Fairleigh Dickinson University, will review scholarly and popular interest in political paranoia as a historical and cultural development, an impulse gripping American political leaders and the public, and how expressions of exaggerated conspiratorial anxiety have moved from the margins to the center of both public affairs and the electoral process.
