Maplewood Garden Club’s Monthly Meeting and Speaker’s Program

Maplewood Garden Club presents: “The Magic of a Winter Garden” — Jana Milbocker is the principal of landscape design firm Enchanted Gardens, a lecturer and author. Join her and Maplewood Garden Club on Monday, January 9, at 7:30pm, when she will share her conviction that the garden can be a magical place - even in winter! Stripped of summer foliage and flowers, the success of a winter garden lies in its structure, basic design and choice of plant material. This richly illustrated lecture provides inspiration and tips on designing your garden for winter interest, choosing the best trees, shrubs and perennials, and grouping them to create arresting vignettes. Her presentation will follow a brief business meeting and conclude with a live Q&A session. Her presentation will be hosted virtually.
