"Eugene Delacroix: Revolutionary Artist Revealed"Art Historian and museum educator Vivian Gordon will present a visually compelling lecture on Delacroix, one of the most exciting French artists of the 19th century. Dr. Gordon will discuss the artist’s innovative use of color and technique as applied to an astonishing range of subjects, and describe the profound impact his work has had on modern art. The talk coincides with the epic Delacroix retrospective now on view at The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
